That's obvious there running away from the grotsIwata said:And then of course there are the two theories, each worse than the last:Fenra said:Back when I started the tabletop game it was space wolves all the way, loved thier look and the fact that they opperated almost indipendantly from the rest of the imperium, functioning as packs in a very tribal way, just loved thier backstory.
Ever since DoW2 tho I've been drawn to the tyranids mainly because the idea of them fascinates me, consuming worlds for some unknown purpose, adding the dna and resources to thier own constantly evolving, they might not be as in depth history or personality wise as the rest of the 40k universe but like I said, just fascinating to me. not to mention 40 foot aliens with blade sharp claws kick ass![]()
Theory 1- The three Hive Fleets that wrecked everyone's shit so far and have only been beaten back at great cost are just little tiny tendrils of a much-greater force to follow and nomnom everyone, or;
Theory 2- The sudden emergence of the Tyranids en masse means that, like wild animals in a forest fire, they are actually running away from something...

Sanguinius. It should have been him. He has the vision and strength to carry us to victory, and the wisdom to rule once victory is won. For all his aloof coolness, he alone has the Emperor's soul in his blood. Each of us carries part of our father within us, whether it is his hunger for battle, his psychic talent or his determination to succeed. Sanguinius holds it all. It should have been his...? -- The Warmaster Horus
You realize that being the best close-combat troops in a Tau army doesn't mean much, right? The Kroot are super-human in close-combat... by Tau standards. By everyone else's, they're still pretty sucky.HitsWithStyxx said:But no, I agree; Tau ftw. Especially the Kroot, what with their close quarters bonus and all that.
Yes yes yes I know that they'd be terminated and whatnot, but imagine if they weren't...Iwata said:Aloran said:If one of those bad boys got the Obliterator Virus.Phoenixlight said:Daemon Hunters, I play them in table-top and just love them
