It's absolutely fucking disgusting that an adult woman would try and excuse herself from the murder of a child in a way that a second-grader would know better than to try. "But, but, the video games made me do it! It's not my fault!" This ***** deserves everything that's coming to her and then some. God damn.
I concur. Shaking babies is an excellent way to manage stress, right up there with stomach punching. Totally innocent.
Just looking at her face makes me realize I wouldn't trust her to babysit my neighbor's kids, and I hardly even know them. What she did was absolutely repulsive and she deserves the maximum sentence, regardless of the fact that she plead guilty.

You know, I kinda like that she's blaming Farmville and not something like Call of Duty. The problem with most politicians using video games as a scapegoat is that most people still aren't familiar with hardcore video games. Something like Farmville, however, has mass appeal outside of the gamer circles. So, hopefully all of the Farmville players will look at this story, say "wow, that's dumb," and it'll be another step towards ending the demonizing of video games.
