Not necessarily. All it would take is the right fall. I have tripped a gazillion times in my life with no injury. 1 time I tripped and broke my wrist. Just because I landed the wrong way. That is all it would take. The wrong fall at the wrong place and landing the wrong way.

I think what they are getting at is that nerve damage is EXTREMELY rare with a bump and scrap ... unlike bones which are rigid, nerves are very, very flexible, and extremely durable. Nerve damage is usually caused by poor oxygen circulation, deep lacerations, disease, poison (such as from a spider bite or synthetic toxin) or degenerative genetic disorders.

Once again i respectfully disagree I think you are going about this the wrong way. I am sure Nintendo is either unaware of this event or they have already been alerted to it via their American section. I understand you are trying to help and that is a good thing but I think a more gentle approach is required. Nintendo is very careful when it comes to safety if you really want to help send Nintendo of America an email telling them what happened and what you think they should do about it.
