Hey, as a street racer I take offense!

My hat always faces forwards, and I have never owned a car with hydraulics, are you sure you aren't confusing street racers with the ghetto sled driving morons?

Also, I like the burnout games, they're a welcome relief to the over the top seriousness of the better racing games(Gran Turismo comes to mind)

word to yahtzee! i have played and thoroughly enjoyed burnout takedown and revenge. despite it's cool points, i will never own or as thoroughly enjoy paradise because you have to check your map mid race. sure sure, my friends all called me wussy cause once you learn the routes it's easier, yet i watch them trying to complete the final 10% of the game and they're still obsessively checking the map.

i'm willing to check my map in a gta game or the like, but NEVER EVER EVER in a burnout game. until they get rid of that "feature" i will not bother with another burnout game ever again. ruined formula!

Spot on as usual. Paradise felt like a step backwards from Revenge. In Revenge the point was to crash into others rather than finish a race first, or at least that's how I played it.

Burnout has always been mildly entertaining for me, he touched on all the points that turned me off Paradise, which is why I am playing Guild Wars: Eye of the North out the arse to get enough stuff so my person in Guild Wars 2 doesn't feel left out.

Other than that, good review. oh and GO META KNIGHT!!!!!!!

This review is shitty, I think this maybe the point where Yahtzee's leap of fame takes a nose dive into shittyness, I thought this was going too happen when the Assassin's Creed review came out but he redeemed himself with silent hill origins cod4 and SMG. Feels like he is searching too hard for jokes and making vague points about nothingness. If this carries on im going to lose faith and take my fickle arse elsewhere.

Excellent work Yahtzee, been watching your reviews for months now, I look forwards to the new one every wednesday, and so far you havent disappointed. The Guitar Heroes 3 review was particularly funny (Im not gay), and the Resident Evil one was just pure comedy gold. This most recent installment was great, and admittedly, most of the things you said about it are totally true and arent really exaggerated. I cant wait to see your next review, altho im hoping you do a good rip into World of Warcraft or something like that soon, even though you hate the games.

May I suggest the following titles for review: Earthbound (SNES), Bully (XBOX360), Vib Ribbon (PSX), Pandemonium 1 + 2 (PSX), Spyro and Crash Bandicoot series (Multi Platform comedy gold right there), Star Wars Galaxies (PC-Online), Tony Hawks Underground (360), Twilight Princess (Wii), Guild Wars (PC-Online), SEGA NiGHTS (Wii and Saturn).

Out of all of them, I would most like to see you have a stab at NiGHTS, cause its a great game but so weird its got to be ridiculed!

Keep up the absolutely incredible work man, and I must say im totally jealous of your job, I work for an insurance company with a media production degree so good work for me there... (sarcasm off).
