Wow, they've finally taking the plunge and made the trailers at the end of ZP longer than ZP itself.

Good review though.

So the PS3 has Haze.

The 360 has this.

And the Wii as would be said has a cavalcade of mediocrity.
This is an exclusive?

What did Microsoft ever do to deserve that? (Note: Don't answer that.)

Was I the only one that noticed that the Warhammer commercials were longer than the video itself? :S
I was worried about that too, thinking that they were going through another phase of adding annoying adverts. Then I realised it was a CGI advert for a warhammer game, and since CGI cutscenes is something that is Warhammer games always pull off perfectly, it really didn't bother me. In fact, I'm not too proud to say it seemed more worthwhile than the Zero Punctuation itself.

Interestingly, the more I've heard about Too Human from... well, any source since I first started hearing about it, the worse it sounded. Not that terribly surprised. As for Yathzee's views on Spore:

BWAHAHAHA; Yahtzee you truly are the king!

Also, I say you should ban IE completely from this site rather than say you have problems with it. Banning it = Problem solved!

Funny thing is the creator was sick of all the bad talk the game was getting due to the long development. So he went out and said Too Human is the greatest RPG EVER made...and we all will see when its out. Errrmmm, yeah ok.

Very funny review. I enjoyed this one a lot - and since everyone's talking about intro's and outro's, it does raise the question of why internet cartoonists feel the need for introductory animation. As Strong Bad said, 'theme songs are just an excuse for show makers to make less show' which makes sense for TV because there's a strict time requirement you have to adhere to and sometimes you have to pad it out (like on the Simpsons when episodes run short and they use the entire opening theme animation rather than just the end sequence of Bart landing on the car. It's not like there's such requirements for the internet, so why do that?

Why does The Escapist jam big ugly wads of advert into our screaming faces?
'We know you're here to see yahtzee, BUT IF WE CAN JUST HAVE A MOMENT OF YOUR TIME'
Even though I suppose 6 minutes is more than a moment

I have to say I laughed my ass off when he described Spore because that's EXACTLY how I described it to my boss almost word for word (without the word shit) (1 part fl0w, 1 part world of warcraft, 1 part command and conquer and 1 part civilization)
Spore's a fun game but that's really what it is.

Skepticism has nothing to do with liking something, has it? It's only got to do with how much you expect you'll like something. You've just got different taste.

Lol Baldur's Gait.

Anyway, I enjoyed the review even though I've never heard of the game at all. I've always thought that Norse mythology , as Yathzee said, has been abused for video game ideas far too much.

It's like an already written storyline for anyone who wants to pick it up and add it to the standard whatever game.

Also, a lot of the Blizzard franchises (Warcraft and Starcraft in particular) share numerous bases on the Warhammer universes. Some speculation was made that Blizzard had originally intended to make Warhammer games, but the holding company felt it would deter from the Tabletop games.
