Ok so I haven't played Skyrim yet (my games back log is longer than a school yard) but I've played more than 150hours of oblivion and i feel like I've barely scratched the surface with that game. There is no other game series that's gives a player so much freedom. The world is an empty canvas...
The Xbox 360 controller is by far the better controller. It seems like the Xbox controller was made with an adult hands in mind. Whereas the PS3 controller is made for smaller hands. I'll play with my PS3 for a only few hours and my hands start to hurt from the controller. Also I don't like how...
'I won't boycott because EA hasn't done anything to me' is a lame comment. EA's policies are effecting the game industry as a whole and all of us gamers are paying for it. EA has forced us all to buy new or pay $10 for an online pass, it has made us gamers look like a bunch of adolescent tool...
Dark Souls. I thought it was going to be the hub based gameplay of Demons Souls but I was blown away by the locals and how each area is connected to each other. Each area is distinctly different but they all feel like they connected to the world as a whole.
Make all new games cost $25 or less and I'll be ok with it. But right now, $60 a game is horrendously expensive. If I bought all my games new, I'd be paying over $3000 a year for my hobby.

I remember the first time a location of a game felt like 'home'. It was Midgar from FF7. When Cloud and gang left the city if felt like I got kicked out of my home. And later when I came back to the city it felt like coming home but it didn't feel the same anymore. It felt like when you leave...
Dragon Age take first prize for me. No game has kept me excited about its story since Planescape: Tomrent.
Runners up: Morrowind, Oblivion and the Mass Effect series. Oh and don't forget about about Deus Ex.
