Have amazing sex.
It is a situation like this that I would specifically avoid your house...
If someone came knocking on my door, I'd prolly take them to the local coffee shop to make everyone know this person's face, name, and the fact that they knew where I live, if they wind up going nuts and try to murder me or something.
Otherwise, I'd maybe play a game of halo with them and send them away on a train or bus.

And if it were Max, I'd prolly take him to my old dorm and grab my friends to do very girly things to him.
Max, what is your hair type, if you don't mind my asking? And are you a summer or winter?

...I don't really chat or anything with anyone on my friends list so it would be ackward. I would let them in and probably hang out and play games? if I were hypothetically close to them then I would probably just do what you would.

Let them in, chat, maybe TRY to kick their ass at some games but inevitably fail miserably and get my ass handed to me on a silver platter.

Invite them in to play some xbox 360, offer them a drink or a snack. Have a good chat I suppose.

I suppose that if someone were to show up to my house and say "i'm that guy from the internet" my first response would be to ask them how the fuck they got my address, especially because I always use a fake address and postal code, and my house isn't even under my last name. Then, after making sure that they were not stalking me i would invite them in... i guess.

I'd wonder who the hell is knocking on my door, because I don't know what any of you lot look like.

I guess it would depend on just who it was that came knocking. I know there are a few who I would pretend I wasn't home for

I know I would be annoyed they didn't send me a message first telling they were coming over, and then I'd ask "how the hell did you get my address because I don't put that on the net?"

Step into my basement.
i sure hope thats innuendo
I'd also invite them into my basement... ;)

Seriously though, I share a house with nine people and the entire basement (which is actually above ground level, the house is built on the side of a hill) is a self-contained flat which is my own abode. But yeah, I'd invite them down there and have a gaming session on my Xbox 360 and a few drinks :)

Being the recluse that I am, I dont answer the door unless I expect somebody. So drop a message beforehand will you?

Know here is a question to you members of the Escapist whom actually read this.

What would you do if someone from your friend list would just suddenly come knocking on the door of your home?.

I personally would welcome them to my humble abode and offer them something to drink. Then engage in some intellectual conversation.
Depends on the friend. If it were, say, one of the fine fellows/fellettes I know on here, then I most certainly would welcome them in and engage in some Booshtacular Convoing.

If it's one of the creepers I know from AerisLives or on my Windows Live Messenger contact list, I would probably throw eggs at them or something.

Of course, the line is blurry, so some from AL and WLM I would welcome, and some of you wackos I would throw eggs at.

For me, I'm sure you'd just get an odd look and a nice long awkward silence. And ponder why people would go to all the effort to get all the way over to my place. (No, really, I've only ever met one online person within 2 states of me...)
If neither of us(notably said visitor) are too creeped out after all is said and done, I'll wing it from there.

Though looking at my account here, I'd only have to worry about the crazies in my WoW guild...

I'd ask them for advice on their stalking technique, must've been pretty good.

Then i'd invite them in to play some games, after all thats what brought us all here.
