I really don't see what any of this has to do with America. They took an opportunity to make a cover less fucking ugly. Your post only shows me someone bent out of shape and looking for any excuse to bash the United States. Your post would have had more merit had you just pointed out the difference for a laugh, but you try to turn it into something else entirely.

But really America? God damn this country is retarded. "You can have guns, but ya can't have boobies. 14 year old girls can get pregnant, but 35 year old gay men can't marry." So on and so forth.
Ridiculous.
This guy is retarded. Americans do not have children at 14 nor do they think it is appropriate and one must go through the proper medium to get a gun license or permit, i.e training.
It's a Little bit more pixelated fabric people, keep the hate to yourself and keep things light hearted.

Ah you silly Yanks and your completely pointless censoring.
PFFT! This is nothing, try living in Australia!
I do live in Australia. Some, and by some I mean a very, very, very small amount, of games get banned or have to be edited to get classification. As opposed to this extremely pointless change of a game cover, in America, a place with an adult rating for games. Even over here we have the original cover, but for some reason the Yanks changed theirs.

It's entirely possible the picture wasn't edited to censor but to actually improve on it. I agree with many here that the 'fixed' one looks....fixed.

It's the slippery slope. Pretty soon American women will not be let outdoors without a burka to stop them corrupting the youth with their bare skin.

This is like what they do to magazines and media covers in the middle east. Has anyone seen that? They tend to draw fabric over women's shoulders. It's pretty...usubtle.

Here:

In one of them the cat exploded hahahaha.
Is it strange that while looking at those images, an advert popped up, wherein Kontraband offered me an issue of 'Monkey', featuring a rather large pair of uncovered breasts?

Hm? What, i don't... *Squints* Oh! Now i see it, they tucked her boobs in a bit.

What difference does it make? Since it's a japanese game I'll bet her knockers will be bouncing around just as much even if they had taped them in and put a sweater on her.

Actually the Musou series did a fine job of keeping boobs from bouncing all over the place. At least, so far. It is highly possible they caught jiggle-itis for the third game.

Honestly, it's not the difference between versions that bugs me so much, because we all know that Puritan Anglosaxon taboos are still prevalent in the US, and there's still a long way to go before buses sport lingerie ads as they do in the Old World.
No, what really annoys me is that we still need to have female characters with a "bangin' double D" cup size to attract the masses of barely pubescent male gamers (strike that, let's just say most male gamers?). That alone still makes me sigh, because, let's face it, if there truly had been samurai women, they would have been B's or C's at the most (remember that large breasts only became popular in the 40s and 50s, and throughout history, most women were small chested for physiological reasons, since breast size is determined by fatty tissue), and would have used breast bindings to pass as men anyhow. But we all know we're not going for realism here, right?...

I know I'm not the only one who preferred the top one.

I hate to point this out, but will it even matter at all? Seriously, it's Samurai Warriors 3. Is anyone looking forward to this?
I'm pretty much a bunch of us Wii players are, since its only coming out on our console =D Woo!
Damn right. Wait...

So why the hell aren't you part of The Escapist Wii Network? I thought we were boys, Durxom, pals even! The world I live in is a lie (etc).

Anyway, I was ready to ask what in god's name is wrong with you people, then I saw this

Samurai Warriors 3 looks like a real dissapointment compared to SW2. The character designs have barely changed, only like 2 or 3 characters look better and most look worse. The graphics look worse than SW2 (stupid Wii) oh and the fact that its only on Wii is bad enough. Samurai warriors 2 was a great and fun game but SW3 seems to have dropped below SW2. The only major thing about SW3 was Ieyasu and Tadaktsu's new designs and the fact that Ujiyasu Hojo is in this. Other than that nothing special.
Lets see what happens with Dynasty Warriors 7 (which was recently announced).

I feel the need to collectively slap America's prudish nature, yell "GET OVER IT!" and release about 75% of Japanese games here uncensored just to teach my country a lesson in not being headache inducingly silly.

What we must remember is that America was founded on prudishness. The pilgrims were puritans that basically escaped Britain and Europe because of all the lust and debauchery and stuff.
EDIT:-

We either kicked out or fucking burnt those silly puritans who dominate American morals to this day.
Oops... Ninja'd. In the post right above mine aswell... I should be more observational, really.

1. How is this news worthy?

2. Yeah, you're overreacting. It's boxart. So what?

3. This was Nintendo's doing, not the US citizen. Nobody cared about the Onechanbara boxart. And the Mass Effect issue has come and gone. Nobody cares.

4. Stop acting like crazy shit only happens in the US. Last time I saw Australia and UK had brief periods with no real government.
