Ah goody I was hoping bob would review these pos series of books/movies. I just cant believe anyone with any genuine intelligence/taste would actually like this crap. Not that I'm saying all teen girls are morons but you know, they seem to enjoy awful stupid shit an awful lot.

I read recently that this movie is doing better than Dark Knight, now that's just depressing.

I'd tried to watch the first movie--I really did, but it didn't take. By the time I reached the cafeteria scene where ed and bel were making seductive--zoomed in on the eyes--glances at one another, I just couldn't stop laughing. Just turned if off right there. Bright side is that I actually understand the success with teen/ween girls.

Stephanie Meyer you are a genius. Making money from a half-ass attempt at what could be called a 'good' story. Using the fantasies of 13-year old girls to women in their 20s (pray they don't breed) and unfortunately my own mother. You can tell I wasn't happy when I returned home from UTC to find my mom wanting to go see that piss-awful joke of cinema. Oh and it looks like my "Bye-bye anger pills" are about to wear off in 3...2...1!

Stephanie Meyer you TALENTLESS HACK. YOU'VE CREATED SOME OF THEY MOST UNLIKEABLE FEMALE CHARACTERS THAT I HAVE SEEN SINCE SINCE LADY MACBETH!!! NOT ONLY HAVE YOU DESTROYED THE FASCINATING MYTHOLOGY OF THE VAMPIRE, YOU GO AND DESTROY MY FAVORITE MYTHOLOGICAL MONSTER, the WEREWOLF! YOUR WRITING, CHARACTERS, and STORIES ARE ALL PILES OF TERRIBLE AND PRETENTIOUS SHITE!

"He's in here! Grab him!" *CRASH* "Who forgot to refill his prescription?!"

NO, NO, NO! I'M NOT DONE YET! IF IT WOULD HELP, FOR THE SAKE OF FANS OF CINEMA, LITERATURE, AND RESIDENTS OF WASHINGTON, I WOULD HAVE DRIVEN A WOODEN STAKE THROUGH THIS PISS INTERPRETATION OF VAMPIRE TRIPE YOU'VE CREATED! IF BELLA WERE A REAL PERSON I'D TIE A CEMENT BLOCK AROUND HER FEET AND THROW HER OFF THE CLIFF MYSELF!ROB PATTERSON, WE WILL NEVER LET YOU FORGET THIS!

"It's okay SkullCap, here take your medicine."

ANYONE WHOSE A FAN OF THIS SERIES EITHER HAS NO DEPTH OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND LACK OF RESPECT FOR ROMANCE LITERATURE AND IS THE KIND OF BRAINLESS COOING DIPSTICK THAT APPEARS ON MTV'S REALITY SHOW CRAP OR THEY HAVEN'T YET LEARNED ABOUT GOOD WORKS OF LITERATURE IN THEIR 10TH GRADE ENGLISH CLASS!! ANOTHER THING *gulp* I THINK STEPHANIE MEyers is-is a, a um, uuhhhh.

Um, so yeah. I think this series is not well-written.

i agree that the movie sucks, i saw it with my girlfriend that did not enjoy it either even though she liked the books. (Yes I am a teenager)

any way, this weeks video was great and all, but: when I watch movie bob I raise the volume because the natural volume of this videos is low, the problem with this (the reason I'm mentioning this) is the fact that this (specific) video was fall of censoring biiiiiiiiiiiiiiips that freaken hurt when you hear them other and other and other through the entire video (this was a nice video exept that part)

I normally don't support book burning... but in Twilight's case I could make an exception. Not only is is annoying derivative, but it's misogynistic to a degree that I a heterosexual white male find myself enraged at the trite "must have a man, so I'll put up with anything they do to me" female characters.

That's not love, that's being a punching bag.

This is pretty much my number one reason why I hate it so much with number two being the insane fanbase, not the normal base.

Yes, thank you for being the voice of reason in an ocean of mindless swooning morons. How can anyone like New Moon? Or the Twilight series for that matter? It destroys the credibility of the vampire, turning them from its once awesome incarnations as a) terrifying horrible monsters and b) dangerous crazed sex symbols and turns them into brooding emos. How could this have happened? I left the country for about a month and came back to find the crappy books had become a new pop culture phenomenon. Its times like these that I count Hellsing and Blood+ as the saving graces of a vampire genre that is sinking fast.

The movie is bad, but being based off a bad book to begin with, did not help it all that much.

i don't think i'd find this review at all as funny if i hadn't seen the movie, and once you have it's fucking hilarious.
but it wasn't that bad, just like the first film but with no noteable fighting.
and you get to see RP get his head kicked in whilst his girlfriend looks on doing nothing.

i disagree that the guy who plays jacob is the best... but thats mostly due to the pisspoor direction of him.

Look... I don't need to experience things to know they suck. Wanna see it? A Uwe Boll movie, islamic porn, any Twilight book. You can't expect to taste a bit of everything in the world. The movie sucks (unless you are an investor, this movie sold as fast as crack). The books... Look I don't care where you come from, but look for real book authors now. Saramago,Frederick Forsyth, Mario Puzzo, Aldo Huxley... I could go all day long.
Movie sucks, review was funny as hell, beep worked for me.

I sad that many of these young actors may have their careers ruined over this. MovieBob, you are right.

Rob Pattinson was good as Cedric Diggory in the the Harry Potter movies, and as Salvador Dali in Little Ashes. Taylor Lautner was a lot of kids movies. Kristen Stewart was good in Panic Room, Zathura, Into the Wild, Adventureland and was absolutely amazing in Speak.

Although those movies didn't make them famous, there was a diversity in roles. This movie made them famous and that's bad, because they will surely be typecasted in the next few years. The three main stars can't walk out their front door without hordes of people watching, accosting and sometimes trying to make physical contact with them.

It's very unfortunate that they get no peace from teenage girls, press and 40+ year old moms. It's also unfortunate that they get badmouthed from guys like us who dispose Twilight and erroneously accused of bad acting (without proof) over the fact that they are associate with this series.
