Okay first off, this isn't MY opinion. This is the opinion of Mark Kermode a BBC film critic who i greatly respect. I was just wondering your views on this.
The man is obviously a moron (my opinion)...
What he said.

That's pretty much it. Unless you or someone else is willing to play devil's advocate.

Maybe better than the new trilogy. Maybe. Probably not though.

At least the new Star Wars trilogy had a couple characters who could act.

I don't like the original trilogy that much but Twilight is worse in every possible way. It might be comparable to the prequel trilogy but the buck stops there; the originals are far better written and acted than either Episodes I-III or the Twilight movies.

I got bored part way and stopped watching both of them. Got though more of twilight but I had a riff track for it. Also there are so many star wars parodies out there that they sorta spoiled every major scene for me.

The original star wars trilogy is overrated and the twilight films do get some unfair hatred.
The Twilight films can never be hated enough. They are a blight on the film industry and must be purged along with the books and all of its raving rabid retard fangirls.

I'm not making it up when I say people have been literally assaulted in real life for criticizing this cultural cesspool.

Ok, who thinks that slamming a retarded pale as hell emotionless gary-stu from a shit novel onto a tv screen 3 times is topping the same trilogy that created religions, formed several spoofs, and was the bare base that started the video-game-branch of LucasARTS!!?
Don't forget Industrial Light and Magic. Lucas created the company during A New Hope because Fox's special effects department had been shut down. ILM made the first Photoshop and sold the product to Adobe in the late 80s. They also made the visual effects for Avatar, Iron Man, and the Twilight movies themselves, to name but a few.

Even if you discount the influence that these films have made and judge them solely on their merits as entertainment, the Star Wars trilogy are obviously better films, to me.

I?m not sure if he?s doing it for the sake of trolling.
At least here is a video of his review about the movie http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00lvdrj
I?m not the best judge but he genuinely seemed to enjoy the movies.

I?ve seen nether but it?s probably true that Star Wars is over rated and Twilight inspires more hate than it really should. I can see why Twilight does, it?s one of them cheesy romance things and to add insult to injury, it kind of trod on the concept vampires.
Maybe Twilight isn?t a badly put together movie considering what it is working with. At the very least, from what little I have seen, it certainly knows who its target audience is; maybe it caters to them very well.
