You know what really harms women? The rolemodels depicted in Movies and television, in realistic settings, expecting them to be a mix between 1950s housewives with the body of a pornstar.
There's also Paris Hilton if you saw that episode of South park. I also blame Jersey Shore.

I like how they say it is harmful to young women. Young women aren't going to be playing this you idiots.
^this.

Fox should hire a real gaming expert to handle anything related to gaming. But I guess there's no real point in doing that either since FOX is such a joke anyways.

They better hope that Duke Nukem doesn´t start taking aim at Fox News. That´d be an 'offensive' to remember.

Ok first off, Duke Nukem is a relic. Its gameplay was always unremarkable, its humour poor and puerile... Why it is still being made is a mystery to me. Not that I ever have but Gearbox has guaranteed I never by their games. If they are willing to set gaming culture back further than the Sin to Win contest, no gamer should be willing to buy their shovelware.

But where the hell does Fox News get the right to call morality or sexism? You don't get to lie to people about death panels, the President's birth certificate, teachers' greed, Judge Thompson's conflict of interest, and on and on and on. Who the f**k do they think they f**king are?

Nah, young women have senses of humour too. I bet there will be plenty of women gamers playing DNF.

But yeah, I get the point and agree that the kind of people that would get offended by Duke won't be playing it. Or at least just long enough so they can cry about how offensive it is.

It's also not harmful to woman, because nobody is going to take DNF seriously. Duke Nukem Forever isn't going to convince anyone that they are just some sex object waiting to be carried off by some macho cigar smoking hero.

I can see Duke doing that. That would be sweet.

It would actually be nice to see the game take that angle on. You know, like an actual satire of a legitimate target, rather than a bunch of dumb excesses with a "THIS IS OK BECAUSE IT'S SATIRE" stamp lazily affixed to it.

Good. Very good. Give it some free publicity. The people that watch Fox News shouldn't be playing video games anyway.
Shouldn't be permitted to vote or procreate.

That said I will be smacking my GF on the ass when she gets a little wild and then I'll think about turning her in for points if I can find somewhere that will take her.

Fox news once again prove they're dumb; because there's no way the 12 year old boys DNF is aimed at will see their report on it and scream "must have!".

I'm well aware DNF is meant to be a joke, just like DN3D, but it's a shitty unfunny joke that you wish they would stop telling as soon as they start.

Oh really? So, then, exactly what should we be doing, then? Yep, I watch fox news, and prefer to watch it over the communist news network, anyday, but what I watch is my choice... and it most certainly doesnt make me less of a gamer than you.

Anyway, I do prefer Fox News, but I hate it when they do this. On the plus side, though, the only thing its REALLY doing is drumming up more business for the game. Silver lining, and all that, you know. :)

Also, FOX, what about the fact that Duke rescues the women from aliens? Is that sexist and over the line?
Yes, women should be portrayed in a light that they are strong enough and capable to rescue themselves, and thus propagate the "weak" stereotype along the likes of Zelda and Mario.
ALL SHOULD BE BANHAHAHAHAHA

...crap I almost made it through that without laughing...

Wow. Its pretty interesting to see the comments stating that anyone that watches fox news arent gamers, shouldnt be allowed to vote, shouldnt be allowed to procreate...

Seriously? Glad you have your own beliefs, but it doesnt make your beliefs anymore right than mine. Well, maybe I should say correct, because you're obviously not right. I always find it amusing how liberals accuse conservatives of warmongering this, verbally bashing that, etc. etc. when the majority of verbal bashing on these forums seems to be bashing the right.

Talk about hypocritical.

Pff - typical woman.

Anyway, its not like Fox News' side of the political fence have traditionally been the defenders of women (or anyone else who isn't white, male, rich and Christian for that matter).
That's what I was thinking: you don't have to dig too deep to find examples of the foxnews bozos being sexist, racist, otherwise bigoted, or violent.
I hope gearbox comes up with a fitting response... perhaps digging up some of those examples.
