Sure, it doesn't have to be a "real" book. A fictional book within a fiction book is fine too.

Yes, you may absorb their essence as well as their pages. But it might have unexpected side-effects as well as intended ones.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory might be extremely tasty, but it could turn one into a blueberry. Or an oompa loompa. Or both.

I got a spy kit once when I was a kid. It came with sugar paper and a pen with edible ink. I never did much with that part of the kit, but I did try the paper. It was nasty as shit, lol.

Anyway, I'd eat one of those little tiny books you get at the check-out in Barnes and Noble. The ones about as big as a stack of post-it notes and have little jokes or quotes inside. That way I'd have as little to eat as possible :3

But if the book somehow had taste relating to its content...Harry Potter. Maybe I'd get magical powers from it!
