This is just like any fight, if you hit someone hard enough to knock them on their ass and then keep on kicking them when they're down there isn't much they can do to defend themselves as they don't get the breathing room to fight back, that's Sony's problem and it could happen to absolutely anyone.

These hackers are just a bunch of nolife fucktards with superiority complexes, they may claim to be hacking Sony 'for the greater good' but in reality all they're doing is inflating their egos by attacking a business that is currently crippled.

Sony's super-dickery extends far deeper than how they've treated PSN members, or GeoHot or plenty of their other properties, and it's been made clear that the execs at Sony just don't learn.

The truth of the matter is, Sony's had it coming for a long time, and the sooner Sony becomes a name spoken of only in cautionary tales, the sooner we all get a better, brighter, more consumer-friendly company to take its place.

Sony needs to become that name we use to warn others about taking their customer base for granted. No, we need to patch out these bugs fast. We are not the next Sony.

so the goal here is to bring down a company, not just any company, but one of the world's largest electronics manufacturers and Japan's largest international Corporation, a nation that desperately needs international confidence in it's products, services and exports to maintain an economy so battered by the recent earthquake that it's still teetering on the edge of oblivion, not to mention the thousands employed by sony all over the world, the retailers who sell their products and the consumers that enjoy them and the thousands of developers who work with them, the actors, directors and film crews who work with sony pictures, the locations that benefit from having them make movies there, the manufacturers who make parts for sony. thanks LulzSuck, for screwing not only one "souless" corporation, but the millions of people who depend on them to survive, directly or indirectly, the struggling economy of japan, and the millions who will suffer the indignity of layoffs all because you pricks wanted a few laughs, and you have the gall to call sony selfish? When I treat my fellow individuals poorly, I get treated poorly in return. That's not some moral failing on the part of others, it's basic social interaction. When a corporation shows consistent disregard for its customers, why should they be exempt from the same fundamental consequence?

Bringing up the Japanese earthquake is simply retarded. One doesn't get a free pass for poor customer treatment because of a natural disaster in the country of origin. That's just bizarre.

Although I have pity for Sony customers, I have absolutely NONE for Sony. Seriuosly, it's been MONTHS now that they've been under attack and they STILL can't get their security up and running?

I know I won't be spending any money on Sony products until they can prove that they can handle their own security. Who knows when they will be.

Customers were safe before all these hackers started pulling shit to make a point. I mean, the first big breach was just angry hackers trying to make a point right? If their security was so bad, why wasn't the first hack done by criminals trying to steal money? Why is it that the only danger Sony is in is from pricks trying to prove how in danger they are?
