I live near a gym so I'd go and catch Machop or or the first evolution of Mienshoa. Failing that I could stand in my fireplace and wait for a fire pokemon, I could go down to the train station and have my choice of Electric Pokemon, or walk into the local high street and catch Rattata, Zigzagoon, or Lillipup.

Besides, you don't need a pokemon to fight other pokemon if you can do it yourself - remember people training with fighting pokemon?

Hey, I wonder how they'd react to being shot, and if the pokecentre can do anything about that.

In all fairness, I'd probably get a baseball bat, a bunch of protection, and a pair of combat boots and go hunting if I didn't want the pokemon hurt too badly.

I live in the middle of the woods, so I'd be keeping an eye out for a Bulbasaur!

I live near woods and a swamp but I'd catch a Weedle Gotta love those Beedrills. If i had the chance I'd catch a Ralts or a Toratoga but probably not in my area.

There's a house that's apparently haunted nearby, so another option would be ghastly and train it into Haunter. Actually, a relatively easy option would be pidgey and evolve it to Pidgeott. Fuck yeah, flying!

actually, this. I love dogs, and arcanine would be badass! I could ride around on it too. Also, why does Arcanine get classed as "legendary"? I swear I saw that somewhere.

I live in the middle of a capital city with a harbour, so I'll go water-type. Probably something like Wingull, since there are so many seagulls around here. But if I had the choice, I'd go Squirtle.

I am in driving distance from a reef AND I have my diver's license, so if I look hard enough I can find a Root Fossil, revive it somehow to get a Lileep, and train it till its a Cradily. Then I still have the ultraball so I'd surf my tv channels to find a Rotom!
