Hmmm... Something tells me you may hive missed the point of the 'favourite Melee wapon?' thread...Reaper195 said:A pistol. Because that way, I wouldn't need anyone to get close to me before I could kill them.
To quote Terry Pratchett: "Although the scythe isn't pre-eminent among weapons of war, anyone who has been on the wrong end of, say, a peasants revolt will know that in skilled hands it is quite fearsome. Once its owner gets it weaving and spinning no-one -including the wielder- is quite certain where the blade is now and where it will be next."rednose1 said:Thought there would be more calls for it, but I'd go with a scythe. Not practical sure, but dammit if it doesn't strike fearin everyone!

Or that. Would probably be harder to wield, but I'd take the risk just for the plain awesomeness of fighting with a scythe.rednose1 said:Thought there would be more calls for it, but I'd go with a scythe. Not practical sure, but dammit if it doesn't strike fearin everyone!
Unless you are building houses in this universe you need a melee weapon in you are not going to get any additional practical use from a crowbar that you wouldn't get from any thing you can pry with, and you would get more use out of a hammer for smashing things. In fact using a crow bar to bludgeon is actually damn hard on the hands, as there is nothing resembling a handle to dampen the blow.Joccaren said:Definitely the Crowbar. I don't know why it wasn't an option, but it is the most common weapon you'll find these days in the general public area, and has numerous practical uses too. Add to that HALF LIFE and you have win.FalloutJack said:The crowbar, of course.
Hey, I live in THIS century.
I'm having a hard time debating whether it's sarcasm or not from the looks of your avatar.Lectori Salutem said:SWORDCHUCKS!
Just because they're awesome and totally practical
