Portal Has a New Ending

I have a strong feeling that episode 3 and portal 2 will either the same game (and if it is it'll be a full game) or released together.
This ARG just has presented too many ties between the two to not think that.

Something akin to the orange box I'd imagine, only with stronger connections with the stories of the two games, which would be awesome.

Was this really necessary? I mean, as far as endings go, the old one was pretty ambiguous.
I suppose this makes it seem less like a retcon.

Also, I was really looking forward to running around city 17 or anywhere outside, with the portal gun.
That doesn't look like what Valve have planned though.

What if Chell became a resistance fighter in Portal 2? Maybe make some events happen that end up helping out Gordon. Maybe they can even meet, and have a silent protagonist stare-off.

I don't know.
I like it! I just think a sequel is... difficult to do. Feels like going into Bioshock2 territory. But then this is Valve, here. They have yet to disappoint me. (They can only amaze you or give you blue balls, but never disappoint)

Heh yeah I just finished it again and saw this ending can't wait to see whatever was talking. Just a heads up for anyone trying to get it loading a save in the last map doesn't work.
