Looks like she would have a tough time fighting baddies in such a tight outfit, I guess thats why she's called wonder woman.

but it seems like this is just blatant male fan-service with the over-accentuated boobage factor.
I suggest you look into the guy who created Wonder Woman in the first place. Who lived with his wife and her lesbian lover. And was not at all into sapphic bondage at all.
Let's be fair here, Marston was into all sorts of bondage, and believed that everyone involved should be able to give and take as needed. (indeed, that was the secret of his success).

Meh.. Its NBC. They are trying to recapture what they had with the first season of Heroes. Yet they failed with the latter seasons, and failed even harder with The Cape.

Its wonder woman, Its not going to do well. There really is not a fan base to support it as a tv show which will likely require 5-10 million viewers to survive on NBC. It might do ok on a smaller network such as the CW, which being on NBC seems illogical with the ties Warner brothers have had over the years with DC comics.

(The Dark Knight is the exception to the DC/Marvel costume rule)
Be forwarned. It has not happened yet, but with Disneys ownership of marvel that rule is about to change.

The inherent limitations of TV superheroics strikes again. Would it really have been so difficult to borrow some stuff that Rome or Spartacus isn't using any more and modifying it to have Greek motif instead of a Roman one?

David E. Kelly, I am not happy. Not only as a fan of Wonder Woman but as a fan of good television. Your writing team should be ashamed of what has been leaked so far, and you should be equally ashamed for having any hand in its approval.

But most of all, I am angry at you DC; how can you let one of your greatest legacy characters get treated with such disrespect? Surely your eyes must have been cast over this tripe at some point, and I would have thought that one of you should have had the sense to say "No". Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman have been your holy trinity for years. They are the three great pillars of the Justice League and are legendary figures of popular culture. Superman and Batman were show greater respect in most of their modern media: Wonder Woman deserves that same respect.

A pox upon you, and upon all your houses! (with apologies to William Shakespeare)

Considering DeviantArt has produced better concepts, this costume is nothing less than a travesty.

Well...that's....different?

Honestly Wonder Woman has always bored me, so i'm not horribly offended. I do have to cringe at the description given for the show though. A "comedy-drama with....Girl Power pop songs"...what da fuck?! Is Katey Perry doing the theme song? This is going to be bad.

I'm inclined to give the show the thumbs-up based purely on how cute and sexy the actress looks in that costume. The "slightly goofy comedy-drama ... packed with Girl Power pop-songs" bit makes me think that I'll end up giving it the thumbs-down, though.

That costume is so tacky. You don't wear boot spandex. Also looks way to shiny.
I agree. Something a little less gaudy would have made a difference. That image alone looks campy already.

Wretched.

Being a comic book fanboy in general, I would like to see the show succeed, but when it does fail (and it will), it will be do to tacky constume, most likely poor writing, and they will most certainly offend their core audience with those two reasons.

Woah. Honey, spandex went out with the 80s okay? I wonder if it creaks when she walks?
