I already explained that I feel sick whenever I eat meat now - so yes; I do.hubertw47 said:So what?Cmwissy said:But this has really got to me and I feel really disgusted;
Whats wrong it tastes fine and you wont get sick, that was a medical instrction vid ya' know?
Cock up, and stop being such a twat.Dr. Gorgenflex said:Man up, and stop being such a pussy.
I'd suggest this. And as for the second part, it seems pretty true for every veggie I've met. It depends I guess, whether you're a veggie from birth or it's a decision you've made based on X thought or event. If you've tasted real meat before, nothing will EVER replace that taste or satisfaction, but Quorn desperately tries hard to mimic it and Quorn bacon isn't that bad.Simalacrum said:Try and find some good veggie recepies, there are a lot of them around.
Oh, and never try to find an alternative to meat (e.g. fake meat). They pretty much always suck and make you miss the real thing.
ummm no it's not meant as a meat replacement and never was meant as such[/quote]Julianking93 said:Also Tofu is a great meat replacer because its made for just that, a meat replacement.
Unless that's an offer to pluck and roast you, too much information.Hitari0 said:The video didn't disgust me enough, as I have had pretty bad ingrown toenails and cystic acne.
Meat's good for that, I hear.dont_blink said:just make sure to keep your iron and protein up
lol i think that was my point >< if you stop eating meat, you have to replace it with somethingLoop Stricken said:Meat's good for that, I hear.dont_blink said:just make sure to keep your iron and protein up
I've seen a lot worse, go take a tour of a slaughter house if you want to see some real horrors. But do you know what? Meat is just too damn good. Not even that would put me off the stuff. Right now I want some Gammon. ohhhhh YUM.Cmwissy said:Hello fellow Escapees; Up until now I have been a meat-eater; I've drifted along eating like everyone else and not giving a second thought.
A while back I saw ......something...that made me feel a little disgusted and now I feel ill whenever I even think about eating meat.
I'm not one of those pretentious hippies who go on and on about how 'animals are people too' as I understand that animals need meat to function (Are lions ignorant and fat?)
But this has really got to me and I feel really disgusted; So to all the Vegetarian escapists -
what would be a good way to change my diet without getting major cravings or feeling ill; I understand it wont be easy - but what did you do, how did you change your diet, what foods did you eat to help change from a Meat-eater to a vegetarian?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: This is the Video - if it is somehow against the rules - I apologize sincerely.

Also why do so many people love to eat?I only do it because if I don't I would most likely die and given the choice to have to never eat again I would quite glady say yes.
I suppose those agruing for vegetarianism so passionately might not be(that sounds like saracasism,its not)Julianking93 said:I have, but I've only seen one other vegetarian on here.Undeadpope said:yes you are wrong,never seen the heated(to put in mildily) agruments on the subject?Julianking93 said:I think I'm the only vegetarian Escapist, though I could be wrong.
