[Update] Your Pokemon Black & White Starters Could Evolve Like This

Um...no, Bulbasaur was a plant lizard (actually more of some generic reptile, but it was most definitely not just a bulb), Chikorita was a plant dinosaur, Treecko was a gecko, and Turtwig was a tortoise not a turtle, therefore a reptile.

EDIT: Even more evidence that Bulbasaur isn't a bulb is the pokedex entry from the first games: A strange seed was planted on its back at birth. The plant sprouts and grows with this Pokemon.

Therefore proving the being is separate from the plant.

And why is the grass starter ALWAYS a reptile, can't they get a bit more creative than that?

They've only had one reptile. Bulbasaur was a plant bulb, Chickorita was a leaf, Treeko was a gecko, and Turtwig was a turtle(amphibian, not a reptile).

Turtles are reptiles.
The ability to be on land and in water makes them amphibious, not amphibians.

And it doesn't matter if they've had a lot of reptiles, they've all been adequately different from each other. This new one is no different, and besides, its easy to relate reptilian creatures to grass and trees and stuff.

This game would break my pattern of ALLWAYS picking the fire type, I'd go for the Grass.

The pig was the only one I actully like, but if that is what he evolves into, then naw. I like the grass types finally evoltion and to a degree the waters.

Look, people complaining about Pokemon Black and White. Please, do us all a favor.

Shut up. Stop decrying about how Pokemon has sucked since Red and Blue, stop obsessively rushing around forums speculating about these games to tell us how much they suck, and stop telling us how those of us looking forward to this game are stupid. Just shut up, nobody cares.

You're entitled to your opinions. I know that not everybody likes fifth gen. And, well, I'm sure most of us who still enjoy Pokemon just don't care. And frankly, I'd enjoy Pokemon discussions more if I didn't have to rake through people BAWing like some kind of Final Fantasy fanboy upset at the fact that Square-Enix DARED to make a game that wasn't FFVII.

So, if you hate it, don't buy it. I for one love the design for the Grass final evolution, and I enjoy the Water final form. I'm going to buy one of these games, and I'm going to play it, sink HOURS into it, and have a lot of fun. As will millions of other fans who are willing to enjoy this game.

So, please, if you don't think you'll like Pokemon Black and White... Just shut up.

Emonga, the art looks legit right.....WRONG! As it turns out, this pokemon was a fake! (we believed it was a legitimate pokemon up until it's creator admitted it was a hoax)
