I wonder if someone could insert adventure puzzle elements into a game like Demon's Souls. These games usually have lots of moving from one place to another in search of the answer to some puzzle. Why not stick a ton of traps and monsters in the way?Xerosch said:Yeah, I'm in a similar position. In my case it's Demon's Souls and Broken Age. Hmm... now that I think about it, this could actually work. In Broken Age you find a knife early on and there's a monster that terrorizes the world with no one except you questioning the offerings.Sonicron said:The last two games I played are Bloodborne and Yoshi's Woolly World.
If you take this setup/different locales from Broken Age and combine it with the gameplay of Demon's Souls, you'd get a very pretty slaughterfest.
That being said: I'm honestly surprised about how the basic setup of Broken Age could fit to be a side story in the Souls-franchise...
Not a good strategy if the most users play Batman, Witcher and Fallout....Silvanus said:Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the Batman.
Sounds fucking awesome. Game developers should use this strategy to come up with new IPs!
I agree. There kinda is a game like that in Pokemon Rumble World where you have a top down view, and scoot about as a wind up pokemon fighting swarms of other wind up pokemon with assorted attacks all in favor of a king. You can swap pokemon provided you don't get interrupted in the process.Zachary Amaranth said:Actually, I really like the idea of a Pokémon game done in classic Warriors style. Especially if you can swap out like Warriors Orochi.Rebel_Raven said:Samurai Warriors Chronicles and Pokemon conquest... But it's already pokemon fused with Samurai warriors. I guess it'd be a genre change? From grid style tactical to koei styled brawler? Or a more standard pokmon game with samurai Warriors characters?
It's not really a combination of the games you mentioned, though. Not directly, anyway.
It'd still be pretty neat.
