What'd you name your Shepard and why?

I named him Godzilla. It's fun to see that they always send Godzilla to do their work.

I also named mine Adrian, I believe when I first played Mass Effect was when I had recently beaten HL: Opposing Force

Probably something silly. You don't really get to see it anyway. That or just "BFM", it means less typing or thinking for me ^-^.

I kept mine with defualt. Good ol' John.

But if I did name him, I'd name him Bubbles.

And definitely not that because there's a mong at our barracks called "John Shepard".

I called my Shepard Shepard, so that when everyone called him Shepard, it felt like his best friends were actually on a 1st name basis

I named my first male Shepard Kaydin and then had to immediately start over and rename him because of a certain Mr. Alenko. However, my male shep was used mostly for achievement mongering and my real file which I carried into ME2 and (eventually) 3 is a lovely lady Shepard named Enriel.

Because I always play female and name every single one of my characters Enriel. It's just my name. Except I've recently discovered that apparently it's a real name now that people actually have and it made me frown a bit.

I called mine "Ares" because I'd been playing a lot of Rome: Total War (as the Greek Cities faction) at the time and thought it would be awesome to have my character named after the Greek God of War.

Named mine Rachel. Since Mama Shep's name is Hannah, I figured I'd make her Jewish. Kinda pointless, but it fleshed her out for me.

Hammer, because I played a space marine in a table top RPG with that name. The whole game actually took on a really interesting perspective while I played him in it.

Nova Shepard, because I was trying to roleplay her like a character in a story I was writing at the time. It worked surprisingly well, too.

I named my mine Adrian. 10 internets to the guy who first gets that reference. I used the default MaleShep so no pic for you.

Half Life Opposing Force.

I left everything as default, so I had John. But my Femshep will be named Commander.

Well, my Shepherd looks like me, so I named him Chris, after me.
And my Femshep's first name is Catherine, after my first girlfriend.

I named my Manshep Vyvyan, because I had just finished watching The Young Ones and it seemed funny at the time. Then, I proceeded to play him as a Paragon sniper, which is about as far as you can get from Vyvyan Basterd as possible.

I named my Femshep Arianna, because I use that name for all my female characters.

My main Shepard was female and her name was Lyra, simply because I think the name sounds awesome.

My second Shepard, also female, was called Raylen because it was a name I came up with and I was pretty proud of it. I also think it suited a Paragon Shepard nicely.

My third Shepard was male and I called him Mikael just 'cause I love how that names sounds ^_^
