Let's see.
Diablo 3 - It was fun until I got to Inferno mode. Not due to the difficulty itself but due to the fact that in order to get any gear to progress you had to farm regular mobs(because elites would tear fresh 60's apart), or hit the AH. This, topped with being a Barbarian (The most expensive to gear class iirc), pissed me off. Once the (first)nerfs hit Act 1 felt about right, but Act 2 was still a *****. I stopped playing after that, since I couldn't stand leveling another character.
Prince of Persia - Take everything you love about the Sands of Time Trilogy and add in a mandatory collection mini-game. Not only are you told where to go by these glowing orbs, you HAVE to collect 75% of them to progress to the next area, and before that you have to reach the end of the current area and than backtrack. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to fling myself across the same ledge 5 times because I was one pixel off from that arc of orbs.
Rage - I loved Quake and Doom, and was even able to enjoy Quake 4 and Doom 3. This game felt a LOT like Borderlands with a different aesthetic and without the weapon variety. Also, All of the guns felt too weak. A point blank shotgun blast can't even kill the lesser enemies 5 seconds after you pick it up? It had a lot going for it, but it's been done before, and better.
Resident Evil 5 - It's everything Resident Evil 4 did, but worse. Oh and you have a brilliant AI partner, or you end up getting stuck with a horrible co-op partner. I enjoyed Resi 4 a lot, it's probably my most played Gamecube game, but Resi 5 just seemed like a huge downgrade.
FEAR 3 - I actually did enjoy the game... when I got to play as Fettel, but by then I had beat the game once and lost my interest to play anymore. Had they given you the option to pick characters from the get go, it would have fared much better with me. Also, Co-Op was fun. The major gripe was having to play through the entire campaign once to be able to play how I wanted to from the start. And it didn't help that the gameplay was amazingly average.
Those are mine.
