Poll: Your favourite Fallout: New Vegas companion?

It's got to be Whiskey Rose. This game taught me that if you want to avoid negative health effects for alcohol dependency, get an alcoholic friend.

Do you remember the time that the CG cutscenes was the real reward for playing the whole game?

Yeah, I remember feeling that way. Within cut-scenes was where the story would normally progress, so I liked them. They were different back in those days though, they only lasted a minute or so tops, so they didn't wast your fucking time with it, (I'm looking at you Metal Gear.)

Games that you hate but everyone else loves

Halo The game never struck me as any fun.

    Corporate Hatred

I do like valve, they make good games, but some of their buisness practices are kind of scary. Because once you get games through them, you cannot play those games apart from them. You're forced to come back to steam in order to play your games. You can only play those games when connected to...

Poll: Fable took the wrong turn?

I like the colonial setting of the later games better than the medieval setting. Fable was good. Fable 2 was good. Fable 3 sits unfinished on my shelf (I haven't gotten around to it.)

    We should forgive Bioware.

Actually, I really like the old republic. Sure, DR2 and ME3 were let downs, but I think bioware deserves some credit for TOR.

    Obscure game recommendations?

No. I don't think we're talking about the same game. In mine you had the same room every time.

"Paint the man and cut the lines! Paint the man and cut the lines!"

How did this myth get started?

In sonic 2, they didn't test the game much as super sonic. If you jump as your cross the finish line for the level, it glitches up and you have no choice but to restart.

What was the first game you remember playing?

My earliest video game memory was of Top gun on the NES. The dentist office that I went to as a kid had a television and NES set up in the waiting room, so I would go play that when waiting to be seen by the dentist. They only had two games, Top gun, and the super Mario bros/duckhunt combo...

So, what games are you playing?

My main gaming computer is crashed, and I can't afford to repair/replace it right now, so I've been doing simpler games like Super Meat Boy and Lone Survivor.

What does it take to scare you?

My mom went nuts for Mario 3 and zelda 2.

What does it take to scare you?

It's all about the atmosphere. There doesn't need to actually be anything scary in order for you to scare yourself. I remember playing "Titanic: Adventure out of time" back in 1997. That game had some good ominous music, and there were times when walking the halls in that game that I was sure...
