By the way, I fear you may have left one important type of pie out: the Fish Pie. It's a staple of British pubs, goes well with almost any beer/wine/cider, and tastes amazing. Cheap to make too (and fish is basically meat, right?).

Well can't an American like me eat a pot pie loaded with delicious chicken, beef and gravy? The only sweet pies I eat are when my mom feels like baking an apple pie!
