Sounds similar to the melee combat in Mount & Blade. And that game is awesome. I have never been a fan of the Elder Scrolls, mostly due to the combat and leveling/scaling problems.
PVK sounds awesome though...
Reviews are all about personal opinion and other subjective intangible things. Thus the "average" score doesn't mean much. You might rate a game 10/10 because you like the genre and control-scheme and think the atmosphere/art style/soundtrack is amazing. I may give it 2/10 because I hate all...
I would like to see more light and shadow interaction with stealth game-play. So I agree with you there. However I would also like to see more use of camouflage (such as in Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4).
I really liked Deus Ex: Human Revolution's stealth elements. Especially with the upgrades...
A girl that I'm slightly obsessed with has 22 piercings and a number of tattoos. Would I find her more attractive without them? Probably. Would I ask her to get rid of them? Hell no.

There are plenty of non-violent games which are awesome. However, if they did get rid of all the violence from games we'd not have Shadow of the Colossus or Devil May Cry or Deus Ex or Metal Gear Solid.
I think that banning violent games would do nothing to lower the level of public...

Why does it matter if it's a wall or a faith plate?
I thought it was a wall because they're generally what you see the AIs moving around. Like the walls are their hands/limbs. Plus, that makes it all the more unexpected when it shoves you along.
Anyway, that doesn't mean the game wasn't...
